Diagnostic Chest MRI Scan
What is a Diagnostic MRI of the Chest?
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for the chest is a test used to diagnose medical conditions such as cancer, aneurysms, hernias and blood vessel problems. The test is non-invasive and is safe due to its use of magnets instead of x-rays to look inside the body.
A diagnostic chest MRI is used on patients in order to provide a large number of images of the chest area. All of these images that are produced allow physicians to look inside the body for health issues.
