State Of The Art High Definition MRI
GE Signa HD 1.5T Multichannel MRI Scanner
The GE Signa HD 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner provides extremely high-quality diagnostic images in short exams that are comfortable for patients. The Signa HD system uses HD technology, a major redesign of the magnetic resonance imaging process. It enables physicians to take high quality images of structures inside the body, and in less time than ever before. The effect of HD (high-definition) on MR images is similar to the effect of HDTV on television pictures.

"When I interviewed for my first job in medical imaging 24 years ago I was asked 'who is the most important person in the hospital?' My answer, of course, was 'the patient'. Even with the extraordinary changes I’ve seen in medical imaging, one thing that hasn’t changed is my commitment to patient care. While working with modern MRI technology is very interesting, I help our clients feel comfortable and relaxed so we can obtain the best images possible. This approach brings out the best that MRI has to offer."

Certified by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, Tami is an experienced MRI technologist with a background in Radiography
